Any chance op could upload the other pages of the catalogue showing fruit/veg/meat specials please

  • They're cheap I imagine because some troglodyte has been putting pins in them AGAIN.

Not these ones\this farm\whatever specifically; I have ZERO exact details, it was just on the news that it was happening again……

    • They are cheap because they are tasteless.

      • Prescience? They'll hopefully have new stock by Wed week which is when I think the OP means (can't find his deal in the 26 Aug cattledog).

The strawberries in Ww Canberra have been very tasty recently, if slightly tart. Perfect with ice-cream. They're on special soon also.

      • You might be getting sick; Strawberries have a VERY strong taste, even if they're "rush grown".

  • OP, how/where did you get your hands on this catalogue?
None of my local ALDI stores release them until Wednesday when the new special buys / super savers cycle start.

    • Iā€™m a freemason…

Kidding. Just rocked up in my junkmail

      • Thanks for sharing, OP. šŸ‘
ALDI has completely stopped distributing their catalogues in my suburb and nearby, or maybe the entire Melbourne Metro. I dunno! šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

  • Time for a strawberry egg omelette

  • How many fresh strawberries sold in Australia aren't Australian grown? Is this a myth like fat-free water, and sugar-free salt, and pricejack-free ebay sales?

    • Doesnt mean that they aren't still Aussie strawberries though.

    • Afaik you need to be australian owned to display that logo, no?

Just means its not a foreign farm on aussie soil id guess?

  • Already $1.49 at Scoresby this afternoon

Did you score some Scoresby strawberries?

  • local fruit shop already selling them for 99c per punnet

    $1.50 at Woolworths today too.

    • Coles too a couple of days ago. And Aldi is already selling them at that price.

      • Not in my local ALDI

  • This Wed or Wed week bemy?

Bought a few for $2 dollars yesterday - much better quality than the Woolworth's ones.
