$10 off $20 Spend @ eBay via App

121

EDIT: For the benefit of any doubting Thomases out there, here is a screenshot of the email containing the offer that my partner received.

Note also that the expiry date seems to vary on an account to account basis.

I know it says "$5 off eligible items" in the Terms & Conditions, but that's what comes up when clicking the link on my summary page next to my $10 off $20 spend code.

Terms and conditions:

$5 off eligible items when you purchase via the eBay app
By using or attempting to use the redemption code for voucher you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
The voucher entitles you to the discount value set out in the voucher section of your My eBay account off the total purchase price for one transaction from any of the items listed on the ‘eBay App’ except for ‘excluded items’ mentioned under 12 (discount applies to item cost only, excludes postage).
The voucher expires on the end date specified in the voucher section of your My eBay account. Any voucher which is not redeemed by 23:59 (AEST) on such end date will cease to be valid.
The voucher is subject to any minimum spend requirements or maximum discounts specified in the voucher section of your My eBay account.
Limit 1 transaction per voucher unless otherwise stated. Multiple items can be purchased in one transaction (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction).
The redemption code requires payment with an Australian PayPal account or a Debit/Credit card in order to take effect.
To redeem this voucher, enter the redemption code into the redemption code box during the checkout process. You must be an eBay.com.au registered member.
‘eBay App’ means; purchases made via the eBay app in the following operation systems:

Your eBay.com.au account must be active at the time of redemption (not suspended nor made inactive by eBay) and must be registered under the same email address.
eBay reserves the right to disallow or reverse a discount in circumstances where it believes a sale or purchase of any item as part of this sale has not been made in good faith. This includes any collusive conduct by buyers or sellers or any other conduct which eBay considers unfair or untoward.
Gift cards/certificates/vouchers, Real Estate, Cars/Bikes/Boats, Coins/Notes/Bullion and warranties/ product protection plans are excluded from the use of the voucher.
Postage costs are excluded from the use of the voucher.
Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay coupon/voucher.

How do you find the summary page?

    • You go to ebay website (deskptop site)
However over your name on top right of page, and click on summary.

Or use the link above in the deal, but yeah nothing there for me

  • My partner actually got an email about it. Not sure how to attach image

    • The best way to share an image on OzB is to first upload it at My Account > files Get there manually by clicking (twice on a mobile device) on the My Account tab at the top of this page and then clicking on the files tab.

Then, copy the link to the newly uploaded image and paste it into your deal post. (Note that the image won't be inlined - it'll just show up as a link.)

However, it's probably a good idea to also copy/paste any relevant parts, such as T&Cs, into the deal as well.

How do you know if you have this or not have two ebay accounts and dont see any emails do you need to have app to find out?

    • The app is not required.

You can see this offer on the desktop website at the top of your summary page when you're logged in. Haven't checked the mobile site, but I'm guessing it should be the same.
