U R right Midea is 1 of the biggest manufacturer's in China, Infact they OEM for all the major brands for quite a few products. I have had a few of their products and they are great for the price point, better than Haeir, Mistral, LG, Samsung for white goods.
1.5 Star Energy rating and 1.5 star water efficiency rating. I thought most washing machines were are in the 60-70l/wash range. This is double. Plus only 760RPM spin. Well, I guess its better than beating your clothes against a rock at the riverbank.
$300 delivery !! how do get $75?
I did for my post code 4567….
8 kg? Shouldn't washing machines be measured in volume, just like a fridge? Litres would be much more useful.
Midea is one of the major white good brand from China, but they are specialised in small kitchen electric appliance such as rice cooker (which it does the best), kettle, etc… more in line with Breville and Sunbeam. Haier, on the other hand is, specialised in washing machine and fridge, which is more of Fisher & Paykel type. In fact Haier is a World Top 500 company by Forbes, and owns 10% of Fisher & Paykel. Mistral is nothing comparable with Midea and Haier - just a low end Aussie OEM brand manufactured by probably 10 different factories in China.
Midea is a major appliance brand in China, the quality should not be a problem. never know they export to Australia though
