What time?
From their website (https://ribsandburgers.com/au/locations/nsw/randwick), it looks like the Randwick store opens at 11:30am.
Do I download the app?
I personally would give this a miss.
1) You will be lining up — and even if they practice social distancing, I still would not be comfortable doing this for an extended period of time.
2) Parking in the area is quite a challenge and the time-limit might be a bit tight.
3) I'm not entirely sure that by "buy anything" they would allow you to buy a $2 dip to claim the free burgers. Otherwise, the next cheapest item on the menu would be Apple Cabbage Salad ($7.9) or Old School Cheese Burger ($11.5) — which means Buy 1 get 4. In comparison, your health-care friends could catch up with you over ribs & burgers and get 50% off (which means buy 2 get 4) — and you don't have to wait as long and you can do this at any other R&B.
4) It is not sure if you can redeem the free burgers at any other R&B restaurants, and how long they will be valid for.
you can only redeem at the Randwick store only.
It looks silly buying a $2 dip. I would buy a chicken burger to try if any good though if I go there.
I recommend their lemon and herb chicken. It's actually quite decent.
They used to offer 1 year of free burgers (1 per week) when they opened a new store. 2015 was a delicious fat year after zetland opened.
