Yeah thats not a bad price but you should put "500GB" + $7.42 postage in the title somewhere
Yeah. I'm like why not name something indicative of what it is or descriptive of what it is?
Is that so hard marketing people? Is this how marketing people justify their existence?
I’m obviously a moron but how does these connect?
M.2 Slot on your motherboard :)
Would this motherboard support this?
https://www.umart.com.au/MSI-B450M-Pro-M2-Max-mATX-AM4-Mothe…Turbo M.2: Running at PCI-E Gen3 x4 maximizes performance for NVMe based SSDs.
so yes.
An m.2 NVME slot on your motherboard. A "relatively" new pcie slot.
I was surprised to see one on a 4th generation i7 system I was doing some work on last week. They've been around for a long time (5+ yrs)
Yes sure has. My Samsung ultrabook with 4th gen had it. I remember trying to upgrade the hard drive and not knowing what a M.2 was back then was very confusing (Plus it was hidden under plastic). Just glad it's become mainstream now
Yes I have got one on a 6 year old board. But the m. 2 slot does not work with NVMe drives. Just have to be careful.
1TB for $210.50. Similar price to another deal yesterday. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/557526
thx, good price
Thanks. Ordered one.
Anyone know if this would be compatible with a Late 2013 MacBook Air/Pro?
You'll need one of these but it will work
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/M-2-M-Key-PCIe-NVMe-SSD-to-2013-…
You will need to boot into recovery mode and initialise the disk, your sleep mode may no longer function too.
Some discussion about it in this very long 274 page thread - https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/upgrading-2013-2014-mac…
Makes you wonder how good the heat sink is which cost you $70.
I've never seen a 500GB M.2 NVME SSD for $28
It's $60 for the heatsink, except somehow no one is getting the joke. OzBargain has the dumbest sense of humour.
is compatible with the ASRock Z370 Pro4? (https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z370%20Pro4/index.asp) I'm not sure if is a new model of M.2…
Yes, I can see here.
Aww yeah got a laptop with an upgradable slot just begging for this
good price
Any idea why Prime doesn't cover international delivery on this? Shipped by Amazon US no less so it's a bit strange?
just remember, the delivery can take 4-6 weeks or more
$108.94 - price went up :-(
not bad price
