  Best next price I could find on a high yield toner was $66 @ http://www.printzone.com.au/brother-hl2170w-toner-cartridges….
  With this here being $33 (+ $8 postage) it seems a genuine bargain to me.
  Where are you seeing comparable prices on this to claim it's not a bargain? Why do I care - because it's compatible with my HL-2170W printer :)

    that is called advertising and is not allowed on Ozbargain…

    if they want to advertise, they should pay for it and buy space on the site… how else are ozbargain going to make money ???

    It's not expensive… but it is just advertising.
    Easily spotted by the number of tags.

  general hint:
  I 'ran out' of brother toner (tn6600) and was able to cover the round sensor on the toner with black duct tape.

  The machine then thinks the toner still has more.. allowed me to get many more copies.
  Youtube/google for your toner if you're unsure.

  doing this can buy time while waiting for delivery of a replacement.

  (p.s I'm unsure if 'forcing' a drum to run without toner may hurt it.)

  It's actually a good price for the toner, and I think the issue here is actually OP, the store rep for ABC Print supplies, did not write out the deals properly.

  Anyway. I've fixed the heading to add the pricing.

    I notice page output is 2,800 pages, at least as advertised on the first web page you provided.marginally over the 2,600 page standard cartridge.

  The 4,500 pages are based on a print coverage of 5% of the page, or approx. one paragraph, as is the internationally recognized standard within the industry.
  But how can you know if any printer will print their rated yield?
  We rely on our research people to inform us, but if you have the time to do a count go ahead and let me know!
