Seems like a good deal but doesn't shipping take about 3 months from aliexpress now?

      Would also like to know.

I've made quite a few orders from Aliexpress recently so my experience is:

Placed 9 orders on 25/6. All but three arrived before July 29th. ePacket packages took ~3 weeks, others around a month. Still waiting for three (low-value: <$15 all up).

One order placed on 28/6 with ePacket. Arrived on August 3rd.

Another placed on July 4 which arrived on the 26th (was listed as through China Post but package said ePacket).

Yet to receive anything posted from July 6th onwards (all via Yanwen/Cainiao/China Post).

tl;dr: Spend the extra for ePacket if you can. 3-months is probably a bit of an exaggeration but I'm sure there will be the odd item that takes that long.

      • I bought two things on 26/6 and have received one. The other is still sitting in Singapore airport and has been there for weeks. Regretting not paying the extra $15 and buying it local :-|

      • Thanks. Great intel. Hate to say that, I ordered some stuff early July and nothing is appearing in my mailbox.

I've been buying locally (especially electronics), except for the low-value items that are bloody expensive.

      • I probably should've included a comparison to eBay. Ordered 3 things on the 25/6 from China and none have arrived yet :(. Only a small sample size though.

    • I've had 5 items ordered from June 21 to July 4 arrived this week. Regular postage, nothings more expensive than free or the cheapest postage option. Things ordered at the start of the pandemic I'm still waiting on, more recent items are more close to usual arrival times.

Micro USB port is only needed if you want to supply external power to the hub, you don't need to use it if you're only running a few low power devices.

I don't think you understand the purpose of this part of the product.

    • Have to add $8.76 Shipping & GST, total $12.95
