just checked, best was in between $310ish-$349, but you can get 5% or more discounted gift card(s) to bring it lower than $399 for sure or price match JBHiFi also using discounted gift card(s)

      • Do you have links for the lower prices, please.

        • those were eBay at EOFY sales

      • Any gift card available for Bunnings at more than 5% discount?

      • Heya - where do you get the 5% discounted bunnings gift cards?

  • Or if you want to save some $$ get this instead

but Dyson and Bunnings 24-month Au warranty worth the extra for worry-free I guess

  • So gutted so much price difference between V7 to even the older v11

  • I find that Dyson stick is hard to push forward when vacuuming certain types of carpet. Suction is so strong, making it really difficult to move along when vacuuming.

    • Can’t you adjust the suction?

      • Max and Normal suctions available

        • It's on normal setting. A breeze on hard tiles but a pain on the carpet. It's a Dyson V6.

          • @delfredo: I agree, I've got the V10 which has low, normal and max. For my high pile carpet I need to switch it to low which makes pushing it a lot easier.

  • Having owned a couple of different cordless vac’s. Bosch athlet and Dyson v7. Have now gone back to corded Miele. I love the convience of cordless but on full power my v7 only lasted about 7-8 minutes before dying. The Bosch lasted about 12 on full and 20 Minutes on medium power. That’s just not long enough to do the whole house. That’s when the batteries were brand new. Now both batteries runtime last about half as long as when new. Both vacs are over 2 years old now though.
Also the cost of new battery for the Dyson is pretty expensive at just short of $100 including postage.

So while cordless is super convenient I probably wouldn’t buy another one. Lesson learnt especially with the Bosch athlet vacuum where you can’t even buy spare batteries. So it’s going become only effective as an expensive $450 doorstop dead weight.

    • Once I go cordless, it’s hard to go back. About everything
