Are you suggesting last gen's mid range CPU isn't High end?

      How dare you…

  • +2

I think this is the brand Aldi sells.

Just gonna leave this here, people can make up their own minds…

    Also in the specs:

GB HDD, 256 GB PCIe SSD

    in the description:

512 GB PCIe SSD …. 1 TB HDD

    HOLD ME BACK!

    • You must've missed the included wired mouse as well.

  • That 2070 is terrible..

Just take a look at it for one second; https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-RTX-2070-AERO-ITX-…

    • Fairly sure it will be the non-ITX version

      • It's still a blower though lol.

Seems to be the same one that was previously sold in the ALDI store and was posted about here

Built one on PC Part Picker for $1561.43 excluding shipping etc.

Not a bad deal, good for someone who doesn't want to build one themselves.

nobody in their right mind would pick this combination of components if they could choose, though.

    • 10% cashback with ShopBack tonight but it looks like computers aren't at this rate.

    • Be very curious to know the specs of that mate if you have the list handy.

For anyone who doesn't think it's good value; you may have missed that it comes with a free power cord

    High end gaming PC

Has i5 9400 with rtx 2070 non super and 550W power supply

Seriously? Is this a prank show? Where are the cameras?

    • Power supply does not increase your game performance….

      RGB does..

It's more efficient to not have your PSU running at full draw, plus allows for future upgrades without upgrading the PSU as well.

        700W+ is recommended for a 2070, I wouldn't risk it.

It was a joke. Just incase you missed it.

  • Not high end and def not a bargain

  • After reading all the comments, I know a bloke who was about to buy this for his son:
    https://www.harveynorman.com.au/acer-predator-orion-3000-p03…

Clearly, people can do much, much worse…

    • Pretty sad if only PC marketers made it easier it would help everyday consumer from getting ripped off from the likes of HN
