It is to play digital contents via USB flash drives. Not sure about the external HDD though (it should play them as well I guess)

I didn't know AOC make TVs! They are renowned for their quality PC monitors. I own a 22" LCD and love it for 3 yrs now.

It only has 1 HDMI port, that's a bit of a deal breaker IMO.
