Greetings everyone, seems like this deal has just got even cheaper for the next few days :) Seems like a great price for the specs from what I can tell.

The original price of the laptop is $899.50 after the coupon (8gb, 256gb SSD) and then extras are upgradeable for 50% off each.

Just noticed jjsnacks picked this up earlier also, so thank you to them also for the find.

Assuming you can add another 8GB of RAM you got a better deal imo. A better processor is quite forward looking. I personally would prefer this Dell because of the dedicated power jack which frees up the USB-C, this way you don't need to buy a hub to have two monitors connected.

  • I have recently recieved a new E15 gen 2 model. Now I recognized that the right side from my bezel (the edge around the laptop) is lose. The left side is fine, but when I press on the right side, I hear a clicking noise.

Is there someone here who has the same problem or same laptop without this problem? Maybe this is a normal case but I don't think it's normal.

Hopefully you guys can help me :).

      Do you mean screen bezel?

      • yes exactly, i have realized the clicking sound when I close the lid. I think it maybe some clip might have not been put in properly way.

        • Ok that's what I thought.

I think I've got an idea of what you're talking about because I've looked on YouTube videos of people swapping screens. There's lots of little plastic tabs that hold the screens in place.

I think you've got a few options: first, have a go at fixing it yourself if you feel confident or, find someone else to do it. If it's still under warranty, which it sounds like it is since you just got it, I'd give Lenovo a call. Depending on how fussy you are of course. You could just leave it. ;-)

  • Just arrived today.
    Quite impressed for the price!
