Possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read on the internet.

Which video game are we getting? Haha.

    • +5

I heard the new CPU will have to bigger storage to store those new better video games.

    • OK, yes it's 1 year old and yes Zen 3 will probably be released in a few months time but the rest of your post doesn't make any sense.

It's an amazing CPU at this price with great over clocking potential. No need to wait for Zen 3, jump on this deal now.

Maybe if you're playing at 720p with a 2080Ti. You don't need an especially fast CPU to get good performance as most games are GPU bottlenecked at 1440p (and even 1080p most of the time). With that said, the 3600 is already at the top of the graphs with gaming performance and a great buy. I'd only consider holding off if you want a great CPU for heavy CPU tasks but then I'd question why you'd be going for a $270 CPU with that task in mind.

      You know nothing Jon

    • Hahahaha

Mr. Dreamscene, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

  • Are Amazon US shipping times to Aus typically close to what the estimate says?

    • +10

Usually arrive faster than quoted times in my experience

      • -1

Depend if you have Amazon Prime or not.

    • Normally 1 week

    • I ordered 3 items and got all of them before the estimated date.

    • My order from a few weeks ago was sent fedex with Prime. Arrived in 3-4 days.

    • yes

    • I ordered a keyboard from Amazon AU (shipped from US) on the 4th of July with an estimated arrival on the 29th but got it on the 14th. Delivery done by DHL.

However it did travel a fair bit (more than I ever have). Tracking shows it started at Ontario, California to Los Angeles to Lepzig, Germany to Amsterdam and finally to Perth.

      So it does alright.

    • Bought from amazon UK a couple weeks ago, got a 5700 XT and 3800x for $1000 arrived 4business days after shipment, from Amsterdam. Crazy good

  • Wht abt warranty in AU?

    • good luck

      • +4

I think Amazon will do pretty good even if manufacturer warranty is hard.

    • Amazon us = to Amazon au -> no warranty issue

    • -1

you really need a warranty on a cpu?

  • -5

What about the CPU w/ X570 MSI Motherboard? do you get the cpu with it? if you dont can you get a refund and get to keep it or something?

    • +4

That particular entry is Just the motherboard, the reviews mention it. And you still need to send the item back to get a refund, not sure why you think you would get to keep the item and get a refund?

  • i dont know why this keeps getting posted, been about the same price for a month or so now? Surely people know to check amazon now, before buying pc parts

  • +2

Maybe i'm the exception but as much as I love a good deal, I'd rather just pay the $30 difference and buy it locally i can get my build started right away i have piece of mind if anything ever happens to my CPU. I just feel like pc parts are one of those things that i'd much rather buy locally even if there was a tiny premium. I have no idea what return policy is like with amazon but even the thought of having to do something to get it resolved feels like a hassle as opposed to walking into mwave or scorptec and getting it replaced.

  • Now $268, little extra saving

  • Anyone got their order shipped yet?

    • Nope. Ordered 20/07

  • down to $264

  • Did anyone purchase this? I purchased this on 20/07 and still hasn’t shipped. How long is their handling time?

  • +2

This has droppped to $259 :)

    • Was just about to post this

      • PWNED!!! :P

    • bought this a few days ago for $270, can amazon refund the difference?

      • Did you order from US? Has it shipped yet?

        • Ordered on 20 July, ship date is 23 July

  • Price dropped to $254.68!

  • Third-party for $210 + delivery?!

Is this a scam? "Trade supplier" seems to be a bit of a strange name.
