let me break it down for you very quickly:
-label wise VPA is better than Musashi as it has less carbs = less fillers and sweeteners = less calories = more "pure" protein
-both brands have inferior quality whey from the cows they source it from (basing off historical info they might have changed sources but cows from NZ are best)
-tase wise they both suck, go with actual brand name stuff that you'd find in nutrition warehouse, except don't actually buy from them as they are overpricedmy 2 cents: If you're willing to pay for more cost/per serve go with Optimum Nutrition, they cant be beaten. Cheaper but doesn't taste as nice (still great tho): Bulk Nutrients. Cheapest but tastes good not great: My Protein
VPA tri protein vanilla and WPC rainbow ice cream flavour taste amazing.
Thanks mate, I used to use optimum but always seem to miss the deals when they come on here. Really you reckon taste is better than VPA/BN?. I like the idea that bulk nutrients is made/mixed/packed in Tas, but their pricing always seems more than VPA when I'm ready to buy. So yeah, might keep an eye on optimum again. Gotta find the space in the pantry for the big sack or bucket it comes in though. Never tried my protein.
Off or on?
Thanks OP. I was hoping for some bargains, but delivery kills it, plus I'm a bit too lazy to google and compare nutritional info vs VPA etc to determine if genuinely a better deal. To be honest, I'm surprised this overpriced old school brand hasn't gone the way of GNC by now.
