  • WPI all sold out?

    • Unfortunately yes, however we do have our WPI sample packs if interested here.
WPI will be back in stock in roughly 2 weeks time!

  • Your protein water is expensive but tasty 🤔

    • +1

And the packaging is a bit confusing. On website it says manufactured in Australia, but on a tub I got from Coles, on the packaging says packed in Aus with less than 10% Australian ingredients.

On the whole I find the whole industry to be pretty sneaky about the manufacturing location. What I guess is go-to China, source some cheap protein powder and just repack the truck load locally. The packaging doesn't even have to say where the actual food was made anymore.

      • Hello Hippo,

For clarification, we state the following on the website: "This product, along with the majority of Muscle Nation food and supplement products are manufactured in Australia in a cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP certified facility." I understand it's easy to jump to conclusions, but to answer your questions, our protein is sourced from all around the world, including countries such as the US, Brazil, & Germany. None of our protein powders come from China.

        Thanks!

        • I appreciate the response. But my concern stands…I have no idea who where what is put into the powder as there's no telling where the protein water powder is actually made. You could be a market leader by actually stating where the powders are made and not just the generic '10% local sourced ingredient'.

The worst brand I saw (not Muscle Nation) literally had a origin graphic that said '0% Australian ingredients', and then no where does it actually state where it came from! What the heck is the point of telling me that?

          • @hippo2s: I totally get where you're coming from, mate. The challenge is that the product sourcing depends on availability, which can change over time. Logistically, it's not really feasible to update this information for each batch. That said, all our products are still fully compliant with Australian Standards (TGA) to guarantee both safety and quality. We're fully transparent with our product labeling and provide a complete breakdown of everything that goes into our products. A lot of companies don’t do this, but to us, it feels like hiding behind questionable ingredients. It's also an Australia requirement to list the % of Australia Ingredients on a product, which is why you are seeing the example you provided. We will always source as much as we can from Australian companies prior to looking abroad.

            Again, we appreciate your feedback!

            Thanks.

    • One of the best in the market that is for sure. We use highly quality ingredients, which does bump the prices up.
This being said, our protein waters are priced pretty fairly within the market. We are happy you love the products!

  • i went to muscle nation and all i got was this lousy t-shirt
