      I just bought the Sammy today at Myer $799. Having sale until 23-Oct. The guy wouldn't include extra warranty with it though.

    Why buy a 42" Full HD Plasma for $749 when you can buy a 51" Full HD Plasma for $799 from Myer?

      Some people like Pana. Other Sams. Some need a huge TV others want a better picture. Many reasons. Check the features on both.

      The only TV I would take over the Panasonic is the Samsung C7000 Plasma.

      There are many other factors to consider besides size and price.
      Quality will always cost more… as they say, not all TV's are created equal.

    To be fair, not everyone needs 42". I wouldnt be able to fit a 51" tv in our lounge room.

      Does it really matter? All Australian broadcast sites have had the 3D transmitters removed. Your chances of seeing more broadcast 3D TV in Australia anytime soon would seem reasonably remote.

    Panasonic Plasma's are a lot less hot than the Samsung ones. Thats probably the only reason I choose one over the other.
