So in September 2018 I bought this.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/389541
And now its leaking, after I push the flush button, the water dripping after.
I wonder if i can still claim warranty? Does anyone know how long does the warranty for this from bunnings?
And how do i claim it? I still have the receipt.

Bunnings is not open in Perth for another hour, this can't wait!
They could call Bunnings in Vic as they are open and it's obviously an emergency. j/k
Step 1 - Ask OZB
Step 2 - Realise you could have called bunnings
Step 3 - You actually call bunnings
Step 4 - Come back to OZB to update
Step 5 - We all move onPreferably skipping step 4.
Drips after you flush, my tool also drips after I flush, but that’s another story.
You can call Bunnings, but it’s probably a washer, or even something like that. Most cheap toilets are only 12 months warranty. eg look at Esiflo on Bunnings website.
Could even just be a little dirt caught in one of the seals.
Get a friend to check if you aren’t mechanical, otherwise it’s a plumber and that’s a cost job.
Maybe OP should try shaking the toilet to stop the dripping. But no more than 2 shakes, as that's a different thing.
…my tool also drips after I flush
You getting into the upper age range, eh? :p
Of course what is an upper age for a 10YO is different for a 40YO. (BTW I'm not implying your age with that)
Also dont believe everything you read on the internet. Comedy can stretch the truth as much as stretching the tool.. 😁
Or you could realise that some things just need maintenance. Try Google for " How to fix dripping toilet"
The warranty would be a product warranty, not Bunnings warranty. Just look up the product online if you don't have the paperwork.
You'll probably need to deal with the manufacturer not Bunnings - unless you're prepared to un-install the toilet and bring back to Bunnings for replacement (?). The manufacturer (as example) may send a plumber out if it is determined a warranty issue or indeed just let you know that it's a simply maintenance issue. Nothing moving will operate forever without some wear and tear.
Leaking toilets are quite common as the seals WILL wear out. Not that hard to address, particularly with the many youtube videos that exist on how to fix most household things.
Surprised people would default to OZB instead of some basic checking online of their issue. Seeing a lot of these kinds of posts lately.
Doesn't it say something about 12 month warranty on the box?
Check the O ring for damage.
Don't flush, problem solved.
Is the water coming from the cistern or the O ring at the bottom?
Where is the water dripping from?
I need a MS Paint diagram asap.Sorry for the delay. Got carried away with 3D brush effect
Your answer lies in a YouTube tutorial video.
Called a plumber?
"Bunnings toilets! Yellow puddles are just the beginning…"
So instead of calling Bunnings (the store who sold and installed the product) or referring to the paperwork which came with your product you ask Ozbargain instead?
