The Deal
For just $49, experience a 2-course meal for two at the recently renovated Funky Bar in Newtown. The deal comes with two share plates, two mains and two cocktails and would regularly cost $113.

Start with share plates like the goats cheese ratatouille tartlette with olive tapenade or ragout of exotic mushrooms, sautéed with pine nuts, ruby grapes and roasted eschallots, served on a bed of wilted spinach.

For the main course, move on to slow baked pork belly with crackling, lyonnaise potatoes, sweet and sour red cabbage and red wine jus or pan fried Atlantic salmon with a black olive crust and served with fennel, spinach, basil, tomato and parmesan.
