    Nice name of the restaurant.

  • Didn't they have one in Crows Nest?

    • Different restaurant, Rangoon Colonial.

      • Oh so all obsessed with colonialism

        • why's that? would've thought colonialism is not generally welcomed by the indigenous people…

@homersyd: No. It's in Australia and Ozzie's are underlings whose democratically elected leaders can be excised by their white overlords. Oi oi oi

Good value, but the first seating requirement @ 5:00pm makes it difficult to use.

Each meal comes with land tax and a side serving of oppression.

      with a hint of pillaging

The term Babu referred to low level indian clerks within the colonial administration who were seen as sellouts and became caricatures of their British overlords. The best representation of a Babu is in Kipling's novel Kim.
An analogue would be an African American run restraunt named Plantation.

Hasn't the word 'Colonial' been banned?

Excluding Duck, Seafood & Goat: so really just chicken or beef for the carnivores.. Would have preferred the option of paying couple extra bucks for an upgade

    • Hi Ceri, you have a choice of Lamb, Beef or Chicken and then there are a large number of Vegetarian and Vegan options too. Our menu has an extensive range of dishes and curries to choose from, perhaps 25+ choices outside of the Goat, Seafood and Duck options. Hope that is helpful! Cheers!

      • If it's 1 voucher per table can we share the food with more people on the table (e.g. between 3)? That's a lot of food and a great deal but I can't eat that much!

  • BYO not permitted as they want to make money off drinks

  • Cripes quite the list of conditions, 5-6:30 (whence kicked out), no BYO, no seafood, etc, etc, etc. :|
