Blackvue DR590-1CH 1080p 60FPS Full HD Dash Cam & 32gb Micro SD (+ Bucket) $146.19 (Normally $269) Shipped / C&C @ Repco

1570

Greetings everyone, Repco currently has the Blackvue DR590 for 25% off the normal price (to $199), and this can be combined with the Spend $200 Save $55 offer which brings this to an awesome price :)

Think this has to be one of the cheapest prices ever for this dashcam I've ever seen, a really great price.

As the item is $199, you need to add another item to be eligible for the offer (can't be a clearance item). Therefore I have used a 9.6L Bucket as an example in the title, but this can be any item of your choosing otherwise.

Free delivery is also included now over $99, so can get this delivered for free (or also C&C).

Make sure to also stack with 2% Cashrewards also!

Note: Seems to be unavailable in Sydney and Melbourne now.

Description:

Sony STARVIS Sensor great for night and day
1080P Full HD for sharp detailed video
60 Frames Per Second (FPS) for smooth recording
Impact and Motion Detection in situations of attempted theft or an incident while the car is parked
Modern sleek cylindrical design
32GB Micro SD card included
2 year warranty

As always, enjoy :)

Sounds great! But I'm confused, Cashrewards is 2%, shouldn't that be $3 not $17?

      • -1

There's some kind of bug over at Cashrewards, they emailed me this figure but it can't be right. My Repco order was $148.19 but Cashrewards has it recorded as AUD889.14.

    • Yeah.. I'm a bit confused too now. I didn't think about it much and it's my first cash rewards thing. The email is odd maybe it's an anomaly. Here's the text

      Bizarre, especially the 889$!

  • Thanks OP, pulled the trigger. I reckon this will do the job as a minimum.

I got the nitrile gloves to bring up the order to $200

  • Can you buy the second rear camera separately to add on later?

    • Huh? They cannot connect to each other, no.

You can run two cameras separately in the same car though, as per your previous question.

      • I meant can you add on the smaller rear camera you get with the 2CH pack at a later date.

I looked on the Blackvue site, it appears it cannot be purchased separately.

  • Thanks Op. Picked one up

  • Never had a dash cam, so where do you plug this thing in?

    • :)

    • Cigarette lighter, power bank or hard wire to the car battery via fuse tap. You need (to buy) more cables for the last two.

    • Into the cigarette lighter 12v. Or you can get a hardwire kit

    • Yes

The clue is in the title dummy. You plug it into your camshaft.

  • Sweet got one and a bucket lol.

    • No up vote?!

Just add the $1 sponge. Comes to $145

      • I'm sure HotPie isn't that ugly lol

    • +1

I like the $1 sponge than the $2.19 bucket. I chose $1 sponge.

  • Unfortunately we do not have stock for some products. Please fix these issues below and proceed for checkout.
Can't seem to get it delivered in VIC

  • You might get a discount on your car insurance if you purchase this. I know that Budget Direct does this.

Always impressed with Blackvue footage on Dash Cam Owners Australia and Scotts Car Cameras. I'm happy enough with my Viofo A119S.

Can't add to cart. I gave up.

    • +2

      I gave up.

We should give up on you, there is a thing called Out of Stock!

    • You snooze you lose, mydude.

  • I love the creativity in this deal! well done….sucks it out of stock everywhere now though :(

  • Out of stock?! Just successfully placed a order, credit card charged, email order confirmation received, does it mean my order is not going to go thru?

    • Mine is being sent from the store I had selected. I assumed it would come from a warehouse or something. So if you find a store with stock, that store will post your order.

      • Strangely I did not select any store. It says "Item not in stock at nearby stores" but I can still click add-to-cart and checkout successfully.

        • Hey theochukoo, do you mind if I ask what's your postcode? or one nearby? I just want to see which store would have stock. Thanks

          • +1

@madfree: Yes, of course wouldnt mind. Though I did not select any store, but my address is based on zip code 4020. Mine is ready for collection. I am shocked.

    • Weird lol, I marked it as OOS as most postcodes come up with "Item not in stock at nearby stores." now, so you must have got lucky finding a store!

      • Surprisingly, just received an email saying "Great news - your order is ready for contactless collection."

GPS module add on if you are interested.

Just got one from Innisfail last one there. Might still be stock just have to keep searching around.

    Quick search shows stock at:

    Charters Towers
    Ayr

  • After searching thru the database here about dash cam, it seems like there are countless deals on dash cams and it seems that the Viofo A119V3 has been recommended over and over again, and the price had been much lower than this, or merely $20 over this Blackvue here.

Now, I wonder how does this compare with the all-time-talked-about Viofo A119V3? Spending $144 on this, in comparison, seems like a much better deal with the Viofo A119V3.

    Any thoughts guys?

    • -1

Yes, I am waiting for a good deal on V3 as that's way better than this BalckVue one from my research. Having said that, the V3 without a deal is better priced than this Blackvue with deal.

Some people prefer sleek cameras like Blackvue, however, my preference is to have a camera with screen so I can see (randomly) that the recording is on (admitting that there is a light indicator on blackvue to indicate that).

      • I am returning mine. Was completely an impulse buy without doing enough research. Thats what OzB does to me.

        • +1

FYI - I bought V3 with GPS for $139 from LineLink. Its currently $169 on their website but I messaged rep here on OzB and was given $30 discount.

Still available in Box Hill (Melbourne)

    • …Box Hill Melbourne no more.

Eltham, Roxburgh Park and Geelong North (zip code 3128) has stock, so for anyone who still wants it, but sadly the $55 off $200 spend has expired.

  • Has anyone received their dashcam from Repco yet?

    • Received the next day, was delivered by Toll and posted on the day of order from the store I had selected.

Could give the store you selected a call if you have not received any shipping notice.

  • Has anyone bought one and plugged it in yet? I did, just went for a test drive, and surprisingly / disappointingly I can't read the number plates of oncoming cars in the video. Just a blur. Maybe that's the norm…
