Great fun for 3-6 players. It's a fairly intense game, not for causal players. A game can last anywhere from 1 to 4 hours.
This often requires some table talk creating alliances, or betraying your best friend - red wedding style.

Camel Camel Camel suggests the lowest previous price was $49.10 in November 2018

Enjoy!

    Get the expansion cards if you can. Makes it a 1 hour well balanced game for 4 people instead of a 6 hour slog

    • What expansion?

      • There are a couple. The feast for crows one is the better one.

        Not sure if this is the best current price, just the first link I found.
        Will say that I love this game but finding 5 other people to commit to 6 hours is tough. And also people that can take a bit of betrayal too. Can't take things too personally with this game.
        Playing the base game with fewer players is unbalanced, hence the need for the expansion

        • Off memory, those expansions are for 1E of the base game only?

        • Cheers - Didn't know these existed. On Amazon AU for $23.

            @Wickadz: Yeah, I didn't know for a long time. Also, maybe 1.5 hours :)
            It's good because it gives each house different objectives, so takes "race to 7 castles" edge out of it and becomes a bit more open

  • Don't think so, I've got second edition. Is that what you meant?
    Don't think I've ever seen the first edition

    Highly recommended but also never had a game last less than 5 hours! (although we did have new players each time)
