What's special about this?
well thought out features
All tapware must be installed by a licensed plumber to AS/NZS 3500 Series Standards.
Flick mixers would normally have screw fittings and can be changed out easily with a spanner.
Meh, I changed my own tapware multiple times, my house hasn't flooded and the world hasn't ended.
Just use common sense when installing and if unsure just look at some youtube videos. Honestly it's water not gas, not going to kill anyone especially given the nanny state rules of 50 deg water or 60 if you got a separate controller for the kitchen/laundry.
Except when it does, your home insurance won't cover water damage. Water damage to a house is very difficult to recover from. Nanny state rules, I agree, but they are a necessity in a world of cowboy builders.
Except home insurance can't prove whether you or a plumber did the job. Most plumbers don't even give you a certificate of compliance at the end. Hell I had two bathrooms ripped out and refitted and still didn't get a certificate. However, there is insurance on the job.
Either way a tap is a tap, if you are talking about internal piping that's a different story.
Changing a tap is no harder than changing the washers inside a tap yet it is legal for you to change a washer but illegal to swap out a tap. If anything there is more flaffing around changing a washer (and there are many different types of washers) than to unscrew a tap and screw a new one on. I changed my kitchen sink tap 6 years ago and it's fine, was leaking a little bit after the install but nothing a little nylon tape can't solve.
The nanny rules around changing simple fixtures got nothing to do with safety, but more protectionism. As a society we are getting more and more lazy, a lot of modern day teenagers can't even fix basic things and we live in a throwaway society which is never a good thing especially for the environment.
Just wondering how much is Dyson vacuum in costco
I got this but after a year it starts to have pressure issue and it makes loud vibration noise…
Is that really a problem with the tap/mixer or is the problem with your plumbing?
This one can you pull out the tap?
Doesn't look like you can
Does anyone know if this is a better bang for the buck. Have a commercial kitchen and need to wash large tubs on bench near the tubs, or is there a better go to???
