  • Dont forget to stack with Cashrewards $5 cashback deal.

  • This or the red devil? Any opinions? First time building gaming pc. Will have the 3800x as the cpu thanks to the big price drop.

    • Sorry was looking at wrong prices, if they're only $5 apart I reckon powercolor.

edit: or even better, grab a 5700 and flash the XT bios. super easy.

    • +2

red devil and nitro + are the best in the market rn I believe, better of getting the red devil if it's only $5 apart

  • nice one mate

  • I may be hopeless or something - I can't see the frequently bought together section on that page.

I can see this one - not sure if much different?

Save it for the Xbox series X, and save up for the rnda2 GPU in next year.

Since series X is much faster then this gpu, as a Apu.

    Yes yes

    yes

Still it's going to retail for $600 with game pass, so your not missing out, and it's not like your into cad, or some form of design software, because if you were you'd not buy this.

    Unless you have a

    master race complex

Then I'd suggest to 3090 rtx in dual sli…

    • +1

Might as well save it for the next series after the x.

    • +1

+1 save it for the next gen consoles and Big Navi in 2020, AMD has confirmed it is launching this year.

      • Not with the virus running around, launching is one thing, stock is another thing entirely.

    • -3

lol, console GPU's are always mid range to save costs and make them affordable to the masses.

You're dreaming if you think next Xbox will have a GPU this powerful.

      • -5

If you were to buy something equivalent of a AMD RX 580 or GeForce GTX 1060,
Better of buy a Xbox one X in the mean time, oh wait…

        master race complex

      • +1

Next gens have as much computing power as a 1080ti and it'll cost less vs a whole gaming system. I sure as hell hope next gen mid range cards are rebadged 1080tis for $700

  • Bummer, missed it. Looking to get this or the red devil to replace my MSI Mech 5700 XT. Can't stand the noise of the fans.

    • +1

Have you looked into trying something like the Arctic accelero iii? It's an aftermarket GPU cooler that will perform better than any AIB model and seems to go for around $90au. Just make sure you double check compatibility with ur GPU and case.

      • I've got the v4 and it's insane how cool it keeps my gtx 1080

      • I have not. I'm happy with the cards performance, just the noise that drives me nuts. So I'll definitely check that out.

    • Consider yourself lucky then. Gigabyte use sleeve bearing fans with really bad noise issues.

But if the fan bearings are fine, you might be better off with some noise cancelling headphones.

Don’t think this has actually expired. Pics doesn’t show as the $578 option, but if you add ‘all three to cart’ option (GPU, RAM and CPU) then it does give it to you for $578. So as pets Ops method, doing this still allows you to achieve the $578 price.

  • I'm still able to add to cart, looks like it's in stock.

Just to make it clear, this is the OC version, which has a slightly higher clock than Gaming (non OC) version.

    Item Model Number: GV-R57XTGAMING OC-8GD

    Gaming: Base Clock : 1605 MHz / Game Clock* : 1755 MHz / Boost Clock: 1905 MHz
Gaming OC: Base Clock : 1650 MHz / Game Clock : 1795 MHz / Boost Clock: 1905 MHz

  • AMD RDNA2 Radeon 6000 series and Nvidia Ampere Geforce 3000 series coming out in a few months should reduced prices on all current gen GPU's by at least 50%

    • +4

Unless you plan on getting a 3080 flagship model you would need to wait 6+ months for the mid range cards to be available, after the release supposedly in september. The cost of a 2080 may fall to the current price of a 1080 but thats still around 7-800$ mark. At the 550$ price point there is nothing until way later after the release date of the ampere, and after the stock comes to au as I doubt amazon us would be able to supply right after release to both countries.

      • +3

AMD is getting ready to release big and medium RDNA2 GPU's at the same time.
        They have 3 Chips.

Navi 21 ('Full') 80 Compute units big
Navi 21 ('Partial') 64 Compute units Medium
Navi 23 40 Compute units Small

Only Nvidia is doing the dodgy by releasing high end first this time around to trying to milk its 2060, 2060 Super and 2070 Sales for at least another 6 months.

AMD is looking to replace its whole lineup with the RDNA1 re-release of the 5700(36CU) and 5700XT(40CU) to become the RX5500XT replacement.

Time will tell i guess. No one is 100% about what will happen

        • +1

Technically nvidia didnt make it official either for the september date, but theres multiple sauces claiming that time frame, but nothing from AMD. At this point i dont believe they will launch at the same time.

  • Wow. Some of the UK deals have gone back to normal pricing. I think amazon caught on

  • yep, amazon caught on

  • time to update the post: deal expired
