So after all the Basilisk X hyperspeed I was waiting for price drop on this. Least before this was 125 from EB games about a week ago.

Camel Camel Camel: Had price of 114 AUD but that was shipped from USA with about 9 AUD shipping charges and longer wait times.

Budget Pc is main seller, you can use your favorite shopfront. Budget PC itself Amazon AU or Ebay AU.

I used Ebay due to best shipping times on free postage and an ebay Card, but linked to Amazon as it has best cashback via cashrewards of 5% and for those with Prime. More than 10 stock on each site at the time of posting. Happy shopping.

Advantages over X Hyperspeed

Sensor is Focus+ Optical sensor 20K which is better than 5G on the above.
Scroll speed can be adjusted via hardware.
Optical switches for Left and Right Clicks.
Wired-Personal opinion so kept last

For those interested compatible with Razer Chroma and Razer Synapse 3.

It has 11 programmable buttons: the primary mouse buttons, the two side buttons, the scroll wheel, the scroll wheel button, two tilt wheel buttons, two CPI switches and the Razer Hypershift button.

    "Wired-Personal opinion so kept last"

There is no difference between wired and wireless between todays wired and todays wireless technology present in select gaming mice most notably the latest Logitech and Razer wireless gaming mice. (no your cheap office wireless mouse doesn't count).

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orhb7Njj3h8

Any one still refusing to use a wireless gaming mice it's cause they are uninformed.

    • Good for you :) That is why it states personal opinion that it is a plus for me.
Its for those who have too much wifi interference and bluetooth is not as good/fast or those who cannot afford the ultimate.

      • +1

That and also that fact that i have to change battery once in a while and have battery replacement cost on top of it.

Mouse died in a heat battle will cause your toxicity and rage go to Mars faster than Elon Musk rocket.

      • Used to have my router on my desk and there was no interference at all unless i had the routers antennas literally facing my mouse this was repeatable with multiple wireless mice.
Bluetooth is never a good option for gaming.

Personal views shouldn't be used for describing or comparing things that could be used buy people to decide whether to buy something since it's heavily biased towards you're personal thoughts rather than fact's and specifications.

        • Ahh, now I understand where the angst is coming from.
90% of shoppers look for personal opinion of things before purchasing because on paper a lot of things appear the same but they want real life opinion of others ergo ppl use forums and get info on things.

The title states its a wired mouse, so you shared your opinion on things and what works for you again your opinion. Similar to the youtube video you shared earlier on, I can share many videos with the opposing opinion.

So I think you should use a dictionary and search for the term hypocrite.

    • +1

I used wireless Logitech G900 for years and years. Then I bought this wired Basilisk v2 and it's so much better, due to the weight difference, it's heaps lighter.

I need tilt wheel buttons, so my mouse choice is limited.

    • Wired is just less things to worry about. I don't doubt wireless mice perform just a s well as wired - I used to have the Razer Mamba 4G - but that kept running out of battery so I ended up leaving it plugged in. Been rocking a G502 for a few years now.

      • Charging about once a week really isn't that inconvenient.

"Razer Mamba 4G" this is an old mouse and should not be used as a comparison vs wired mice. The mamba you mention has a 16 hour battery life, Razer Viper Ultimate battery life for example is 70 hours.

        • The Ultimate is almost double the cost, so its a comparison of a Sundowner and a Granny smith.
