It's a new way to make revenue for theatrical movies which aren't released in the cinema during covid.
When cinemas reopen they'll probably keep releasing them with an expensive rental at the same time. So people don't have to go out if they don't want to. If you have kids, $25 is cheaper than an adult and a kid at the cinema.

There are no links to click through on the Store. It tells me I can add it to my wish list.
