Another TV deal I came across. Quick search showed me this is the lowest price for this model.
New 2020 model.
For those did not like the TCL listing I posted earlier.
Thanks

$30 off $300+ spend for You and Your Friend (New Customers).
Thought this one looked pretty good in person for the price
way better than the TCL deal, except the slightly smaller screen
Why? TCL also has longer warranty?
Picked this last month for $764.25 from Samsung Edu store using the $50 voucher
Why do people buy a PC monitor when TV is cheaper?
For a a lot of different reasons, some of them here:

Because a TV is meant to be viewed from across the room, so it lacks the precision of a monitor that sits 2 feet away. Just because it's the same size and resolution, there are potentially thousands of additional considerations, not the least of which is the panel type. I have a 43" 4K Philips IPS monitor, I would never even consider using a VA or TN panel for computing work, let alone a 43" 4K TV.
Because TVs just straight up don't look good at the moment for gaming or just general PC use. I've seen a lot of pretty expensive TVs. I even own the TV on this post but the 43 inch version. Not to say this TV isn't good for what it is, but compared to my LG 27GL850 monitor it looks like shit. The amount of ghosting (Everything leaving a trail behind itself when moving as the pixels can't change fast enough) on TVs right now even on expensive ones is insane. Though viewing at a distance like its intended ghosting becomes less noticeable but yeah i still wouldn't use it like it's a monitor.
waiting on banger hisense Q8 deal 65"
Good price, though if you have access to Samsung's employee or education store, the same TV is $846 with free delivery before applying the $50 sign up voucher
