Why can't Telstra post up deals?

No one I know wants to be locked in with Vodafone…

    • +1

      why would they?

        Yeah exactly…

all vodaphone deals are just more proof that voda just tries to flood an already flooded network with more people.

      vodoaphone - DONT WANT!

    • Of course Telstra post their deals. Rep 1, Rep 2.

  • "get the 64GB for the price of the 16GB" - what does that mean?
Voda sell the 16GB model only through their CJs brand for $5+$45/month with 1.5GB data.
Arguably much better and certainly a little cheaper, even without considering excess data and 1300 charges.

    • The pricing for the 64GB online is the same as the pricing for the 16gb in our retail stores

        OK, thanks.

Any idea how soon the price will drop, given how keen the Nokia CEO is to kill this platform? :-)
At least we have a release here, unlike the US or UK.

        • LOL, maybe it'll be another HP TouchPad Fire Sale!! Wonder if the CyanogenMod team could do their wonders on the N9 too?! :P

  • any chance of an iphone 4 / iphone 4s deal?

If you don't mind about the lack of native apps, this is an awesome phone. As someone who has disliked Nokia phones for a good few years now, I had a play around with it at a training session and it's great. This is a good deal too - retail stores aren't even stocking the 64GB variety.

    Vodafone = Auto-Neg

This is totally lame voda :(

Last night I was sooo tempted to buy this on a 12 month plan but you told me there would be an awesome deal tomorrow so I waited, now the deal is for 24 month plans AND on top of that the 12 month plan has gone up in price! So disapointed by this, I feel you've mislead me and now my chances of picking up a N9 are gone :(

I'm not going to neg because I think the deal is still valid for those that want to sign up for 24 months but I'm really disapointed by this and it's put a damper on my day.

Fyi - Didn't screenshot the price when it was $59 p/m for 12 months :(

Spoke to the vodafone rep and he was happy to help me with my issue, hopefully I get a call soon ;)

      N9 here I come!

I won't neg the deal but I'd strongly suggest the following analogy, would you buy a car if you knew it's A/C, power windows, CD player and ABS would stop working in 12 months? Everything from Nokia that isn't Win Mob 7 is likely dying or dead.

    • would you buy a car if you knew it's…

If it was $99 and I needed it, then yes, yes I would. Until then, I'm with you.

    • That doesn't mean the phone doesn't work well or will stop in 12 months.

Nice phone, special deal for OzBs, +ve vote.

  • VODAFAIL WARNING!! Sure, the phone may be a good deal, but their network is RUBBISH.

It'll render your phone useless & only bring you frustration… Trust me, I just left then after a 6 month long battle.

i joined 6 months ago, no real issues. Just as good/better than virgin from where i came.
