@Frayin: Surprisingly not many people I know or follow this forum and their expectations of pricing are almost always way above mine.
@bigbadboogieman: Oh definitely. Quite a few people in my social group I've tried to introduce to OzBargain but they're simply not interested.
Had a friend of mine purchase a gigabyte 2070 super for $1200 two weeks ago. My brother purchased his TV for $1,400, i bought the exact same tv a month later for $895.
it blows my mind sometimes how extravagant people can be with their spending.
@Frayin: Yeah exact same experiences here. It's insane how much money people waste, and get blown away when I tell them could have saved $3-400 here and there, yet still don't care when I tell them about Ozbargain.
Is it a good idea to buy this with 28Degrees price protection?
If you don't intend on buying the next gen, possibly. How long does the price protection last? Price drops could be a good 4-5 months away.
I think it's 6 months, should be enough for a good deal or two? Or should I just be patient…
Assuming the next gen consoles release in November (xbox 360 released 22nd november, xbox one x released 22nd november) i would suspect some really good deals to appear just before then.
With the pandemic, any logistic issues could have arisen, so i would probably play it safe.
It's 12 months, it was changed awhile ago. Fee went to 1% of closing balance.
The one x has been discontinued so don't count and stores getting any more stock in

Nah i think it’s literally tied to the console. First one to log in gets it.
Have anyone's orders shipped yet? Ordered 7am this morning and still not dispatched. Is the delivery estimate of 3-7 days accurate?
