    Stating currently unavailable?

    • Wonder if it's supposed to start 12:00pm?

Available between 12am and 11:59pm on 20 June 2020 AWST.

    • It's only for participating restaurants, I got the 'unavailable' error when trying to apply the promo on non-participating ones. Might be what's happening for you?

coupon are wrong way round - mesupportlocal = northern states, supportlocalme = southern states

  • If you live in Geelong, 100% recommend Kebabs on High.
Kebab plate with beetroot and hommus dip for extra points.

    • Their HSPs are absolute bomb as well! Kebab G on Pako street is also great if you haven't tried them.

  • Will it be cheaper to order directly from restaurant and picking up?

Any way to see all participating restaurants for pick up? I can only see eligible ones in my delivery area

    • Will it be cheaper to order directly from restaurant and picking up?

Probably depends on the restaurant's rates to ubereats. Ordered from a fish and chips shop with yesterday's deal (seafood) and ended up being about ~10% cheaper with this deal, though it wasn't the same discount per product

    • Need to change delivery address to one in city/ suburb from where you want to pick up, then click food fest banner to see participating venues in that area

  • Anyone here recommends Mascot Kebab?

  • in Reservoir ,I tryed before Orient kebab has delicious kebab

    • The codes are the wrong way around on the uber eats website, its:

      VIC / TAS / WA / SA : SUPPORTLOCALME

      QLD / NT / NSW / ACT : MESUPPORTLOCAL

  • Worked for me at like 11 this morning. Applied the code and then clicked through the banner on the Food fest banner on the app home page. Scrolled down and there was a list of the participating restaurants.

  • Worked for me. Lunch sorted :)

  • If it's not for delivery, doesn't this just make it normal prices for a lot of places?

Yeah Nah not going to waist my time with UberEats again did some checks with the same restaurants under both UberEats and Menulog

    here is an example

    "Uber Eats
2 large pizza garlic bread 1.25 drink
    $40-30%=$28
    $7.99 Delivery
    =$35.99

    Menulog
2 large pizza garlic bread 1.25 drink
    $30
    $5 Delivery
    =$35
    "

    • Thanks for sharing. Damn Uber Eats.

  • To save trial and error:

  • Worked for me Kebab house in Clayton Vic

  • Doesn’t seem to work?

  • Try order direct from restaurants - you may save a few bucks but the restaurants pay something like 30% commission for these services and with these discounts on top they will make nothing. Maybe see if they will give you a discount if you need it, but if you’re local why not get out for a bit and pick it up? Get a nice trip and do your local some good! :) (PS Not meant to judge anyone using these services, I just never knew how much they ripped restaurants off until someone told me.)

"It’s our shout! Uber Eats will cover the daily deal, so you'll be supporting your local restaurants with every order."

Good opportunity to try stores that aren't your local and were never going to get your business in the first place though.

But agreed I rather go pickup my favourites instead of paying more and giving the restaurant less. I'm guessing most Ozbargainers do the same.
