Guys, please note: Dell has made it clear to us they will not pay commission on any unlisted codes. As of right now, there are none listed on Cashrewards.

    • +1

Thanks ta, beat me to it by 26 seconds.

    • OK, so either 15% cashback, or 15% off codes + Stacked codes (such as EPP5/ Honey7)…

    • Obviously none

      • Thank you for taking the time out of your day to make such a clarifying comment.

        • At least mine was only 1 useless line

  • +3

Probably better off just using AUAFFILIATES15%OFF right? EPP5 is back up and running too, I just checked. Unless of course the cashback stacks.

    • +1

Also wondering this, does cashback stack??

    • That code doesn't work with any Dell G series machines and a few others, so cb is probably better in that scenario.

    • +1

Didn't stack for me. Used that code on Wednesday with cashrewards 10% cash back and it did not stack.

    • Unless of course the cashback stacks.

or.. if you use price protection on a credit card ;)

      • I have been thinking about this too. I guess Cashback is beneficial for those with Price protection card as invoice will be higher price meaning potential hgiher chance of claiming price protection? Is that right

    • adding the AUAFFILIATES15%OFF removed the discount that was part of the dell website. Assume this would be ok for people if they are wanting something that is not currently on special

      • Even for stuff on special it's often better than the cashback option. Cashback excl. the GST amount. I was looking at the 3219Q and it had a 3% EOFY deal.

BA it's been a long while since your drone price error with bunnings. Time for the price error of 2020.

    • +1

Haha Yeah… I am still looking for it :D

  • Does it stack with HONEY7?????

    • According to the t&C page no coupons are listed that can be used in conjunction with the 15%off.

    • +1

I think honey7 is dead…haven't been able to get it to work the last 2 days, Let me know if its working for you.

      • HONEY7 works on the Alienware M17 R3.

        EPP5 works on the Area51m.

  • anyone recommend any good dell gaming laptops for around $1500? and also some lower end gaming laptops around $1.1?

  • Any good deals / recommendations for 27 inch monitors for work?

    • U2719D ($560 after cash back) if you don't need USB-C (note that refurbished ones have been $400 before on the dell outlet store, but they don't last long there)

If you do need USB-C it gets more complicated (and expensive).

    • Dell 27 Monitor - S2719H is now what i'm looking at.
      https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-27-monitor-s2719h/apd/2…

Was also looking at the AOC AOC 27G2
      https://www.centrecom.com.au/aoc-27-1ms-144hz-free-sync-moni…

      Not sure now

Since Dell is trying to clear old stock the S2719DC is currently on sale for around $552 delivered.

However you can get a U2720Q Refurbished from Dell for $609 if you check their Dell Outlet for stock everyday around 7pm - 8pm.

      Pros and cons:
S2719DC has a brighter screen and supports HDR600.
1440p is the sweet spot. Text shouldn't be too small compared to 2160p (U2720Q)
Has -5% less DCI-P3 in colour gamut compared to U2720Q
Only supports up to 40W charging for USB-C laptops (Only sufficient for low powered ultrabooks around 13inches)

      U2720Q
      Released in January 2020.
Peak brightness is only 450nits for HDR mode. Typical brightness is 350nits.
USB-C charging up to 90W for high powered laptops like Dell XPS 15 and up.
      Supports 10-bit colour
Higher coverage of the color gamut at 100 SRGB and 95% DCI-P3
Has height, tilt and swivel adjustments
      Has VESA mount support.

Using a Dell UltraSharp 2719 USB-C (U2719D). Bought it for 50% off as a result of an OzB deal late last year.

It replaced a 13 yo Dell UltraSharp (still working perfectly, but no HDMI). There are multiple options to connect including USB-C (nice, but not absolutely necessary). I just use the USB-C to turn the monitor into a USB hub and plug in my mouse, keyboard and a USB drive.

These are perfect monitors for the workspace. Dell deals come and go. Checkout out their web-site and lock in the model number your like with an OzB reminder if a deal comes up.

    • Thanks for the replies. I like the ultrasharps but not prepared to pay that much at this stage because I'm going for a dual monitor setup. Already have two 24" legacy Dells that refuse to die although they are showing signs of age. Looked at other ozb deals and anything sub 300 is around my price range only so I can claim back the full amount on tax but fully aware I'd need to look at 350-400 for a budgrt model. Some of these deals are awefully tempting though.

  • Hey guys, a newbie here. Would this qualify for the cashback - https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/accessories/apd/210-atux

and is it a good price?

  • And then you'll wait a month for your order to show up as they import most products from overseas.

  • Does this stack with EOFY sale?

  • Very much contemplating the Vostro 15 7000 - https://www.dell.com/en-au/work/shop/cty/pdp/spd/vostro-15-7…
6 core 9th, sub 2kg, Thunderbolt 3, GTX 1650, 97WHr Battery, 1x16gb and 512 NVME with space for another. Anyone have any thoughts or potential alternatives?

    • +1

A colleague bought 1 last year, very nice build quality and material, I wouldn't mind using it over says an XPS or a Macbook. Can run a bit hot, however I heard it was fixed with a bios update sometimes after launch. Price was cheaper a year ago, but still very decent. I'd say you won't find much better alternatives for a 15" thin and light work laptop. On a site note, it's good for casual games, but if you mainly game then probably should look elsewhere.

      • Cheers mate thanks for that.

Yep I was checking out reviews and deals and seems it was same/cheaper price this time last year.

I don't plan to game but still want to extra hours power for other tasks. I will also purchase with a price protection card in case it drops lower for some reason,I think cashback has an advantage for that.

Also like the fact this unit is ready to ship! So no 3-4 week wait.

  • Nice just as the SB 14% is over. And 1% more.
I used theirs end of last year (was 16% iirc)

  • Could the DELL gurus kindly advise/recommend a lightweight laptop that has big memory to be used mostly for MS applications excel, word, .ppt etc.thanks
