is the meat even decently marbled, looks leaner than fillet for a sirloin

not really a deal IMO as top grade 'branded' grass fed sirloin is usually ~$35 in my local butchers.

I question that it can feed 7 people, who eats a ~200gm sirloin steak?

    Hi @fordperfect,

yes, you could indeed get a grass fed sirloin from the local butchers for cheaper but our sirloins are sourced from some of the best cattle from the Australian meat group in Victoria and are much higher quality compared to meat you can get at the local butchers.

    • are much higher quality compared to meat you can get at the local butchers.

Bit of a presumptuous statement, you have no idea which butcher they go to nor the quality of the meat offered…

The Mascot-based wholesaler supplies produce to about 600 venues, including 75 per cent of the top 100 restaurants in the country. Sydney-based clients include Bennelong; Quay; hospo giant Merivale; Matt Moran’s eateries (including Chiswick; and Qantas. In Melbourne the list is just as impressive: Vue de Monde, Stokehouse and Scott Pickett’s Matilda and Estelle.

        Probably not a baseless claim.

  • What's eveyones recommended storage & prep options? I've got a vacuume sealer, but I usually defrosted meat just isn't the same.
