Quantum Dot

Compares very well vs LG Nano 91 and Samsung Q70T or Q80T
Slightly cheaper than The Good Guys Deal and some people might prefer buying from JB

According to this post on whirlpool it is same as H9G in USA
i only found one review of this tv and its called the H9G in america, this is the only video review currently on youtube, and honestly i wish he showed more black scenes, he said he will make another video..

after extensive research i believe the q80t is the better overall tv since the FALD algorithm works better even though it has less dimming zones on the Samsung, so 65" q80t is on my radar, the q80t is the replacement for the q70r from last year. the q90t is the replacement for the q80r from last year.
as far as cheaper options like TCL's new line of c715 and c815 qled's (both edge lit) they have terrible backlight bleed issues as seen in some youtube reviews. and they have 320nits and 400 nits of brightness which is terrible for a QLED.
I'm also on the hunt for a 65" TV and have been debating the Samsung Q80T, Q60T, or just the Hisense Q8.
Honestly it's for my parents, and I don't think they'll legit make the most use of all the features that a Samsung would offer.
I don't think the LG C9 is necessary / worth it… Thoughts?
for ur parents? get teh base model tu8000 really it does not matter tbh even q60 is overkill for parents. they are just not gonna see a difference or care
is this a android tv???
No, it uses Hisense Vidaa version 4.0.
oh that sucks..oh OS is quite basic
only usa version has android tv, ours is VIDDA lame
Is this suitable for next gen upto 4k 120?
HDMI 2.0.. so 4k@60Hz only
$2680@Appliance Central ebay?
I see $2980. So with eBay price guarantee, $2830 I guess.

Bought from JB. Had gift cards I wanted to use. Will be replacing a 7 year old 50” Panasonic Plasma that still works fine.
me too! (except it was a Samsung 50" plasma I was upgrading from)
I’ve been waiting for a decent deal for a few months now! Finally bit the bullet. Would have preferred another brand but am willing to give Hisense a go.
No hdmi 2.1 is a deal breaker. No 4k 120hz, in fact not even real 1080p 120hz from what I've read. The tv uses simulated frame duplication to give the illusion of 120hz.
I saw some comments re hdmi 2.1 but I don’t know what it is so I thought it wouldn’t make a difference :)
What is 2.1 used for?
Got it for $2991 from Goodguys a few days ago through pricematching. No hdmi 2.1 but for everything else it is amazing https://www.gadgetguy.com.au/product/hisense-65q8-ultrahd-tv…. The full array local backlight sold it for me as the samsung 70T didn't offer it and the 80T was a bit out of price range. Would recommend.
Happy to answer any questions
Hey mate, I am after this TV as well and been reading a lot about it. How do you find it? I was quoted $2700 for the TV or $2850 with extra 3 years extended warranty from JB. Can you share your experiences (good/bad) since you have this tv :)?
any review? what is this model in north america?H9F?
