    • looks the same but with WIFI. The wifi feature might be handy and easier to view any videos on your tablet/phone once you have downloaded it

      • Is the mount firm enough on the windscreen?

        • i hope so because i will be getting the one with WiFi

          • @pippohippo: My 70mai just dead less than 1 year, found my old G1W and put it back on. The only problem with G1W are without GPS, sometime won't auto delete old recording when SD card full and the clock won't hold the time if not driving everyday.

Is this better except with GPS? I found that the G1W recording quality is not bad, better than 70mai.

            • @superforever: unlike xiaomi products to just die that quick. I have avoided buying things from overseas mainly for warranty support.

tbh, I haven't used navman before but navman is a company that focuses on gps/dashcam /maps etc. So I would assume their items are more reliable.

Yeah, I bought it from eBay local seller, still hasn't receive any reply yet.

Google the issue and found that I am not the only one but most was caused by firmware update but I didn't update it and I have WiFi turned off, not sure why.

  • Thanks op, got one just now
