The whisky price got inflated so much in the last few years. I remember that I could regularly get a bottle of this for $80-$90 and Laphroaig 10 for $65 $70… Oh well… Whisky is an expensive hobby anyway

The folks and Dan Murphy's told me that the bottles go on sale for about 85$ ish; however, it hasn't been that cheap since November.

Last year, you could price match at boozebud and stack with a new customer coupon/groupon. Those were the days … It looks like amazon is making a play in the liquor market. Hopefully we see some good deals from them ruffling the market.
Been watching this myself, so out of line with other countries too despite the loss on the conversion from USD to AUD. The alcohol tax is too much and should be limited to beer and/or premixed at least. Leave wine and whisky alone for heavens sake.
