@bhunter101: You are either not an ebay plus member or have already bought one with the discount code. Stock is still available for this ebay deal as I type this.

            • @Buy2Much: Right yes, I did buy from eBay already that could be why. Thought it was sold out as when I bought it they had sold 161.

              • @bhunter101: Note that Kogan one is a global model and comes with an overseas plug. They did not send me an Australian cable when I bought from them. After a couple of correspondences, having to send them photographic proof, they gave me a credit of $15 10 days later (after I reminded them again), not refund, so I‘d have to find something to buy in their store. The annoying thing is that the Aust cable that I require is listed ~$30 in their store!

                • @Buy2Much: Interesting.. They only offered to refund me $5

                • @Buy2Much: Haha, photographic proof makes no sense, you could have just removed the cable, then taken the photo. Not saying that you did.

@John Kimble: They wanted a photo showing everything that came in the box, including the overseas cable. The thing that did not make sense was that they knew they sold an imported model so of course won't have Aust cable, why wasted time taking photo to prove that it was an overseas cable…other than by making people jump hoops and delaying, some people won't bother chasing up and just go buy the Aust cable so that they can use it sooner…

                • @Buy2Much: The one from Dick Smith came with overseas cable, however they automatically shipped the AU cable separately.

        • I'm getting "This code has expired" when trying to check-out (the eBay deal) now

I'll just leave these here in case anyone is interested:

It was for a different model, but interesting reading nonetheless.

Dammit, wish I’d seen this two weeks ago. I bit the bullet and bought that model as so many people on here had been raving about them for so long.

My conclusion from that article is it still works, just don't trust auto mode.

    • In real situation such as in my house the air purifier is placed at master bedroom which is 15 meters away from kitchen.

Everytime after i cooked steak I can see the purifier turned on by itself

It is good enough for me.

  • should i buy this or Sharp plasmacluster better, comparing ongoing cost filter

  • Anyone found a good cheap source for filters yet?

I picked up a couple during the bushfires (we were less than 15km from a huge fire and had readings over 600 in town for weeks). As a result the filters will probably need to get replaced before the year is out (and before the next bushfire season starts).

    • +1

They are <= $45 from this same store, are you after cheaper?

      • To be honest, I hadn't looked recently. When I bought mine I think most filters were going for $80 or more. Happy to pay ~$40

  • Dick Smith eBay is more expensive

    and the shipping for 2 = $16.99

Paid $300 for it during the bushfires, and now I use it as a bedside stand..

  • Thanks OP! I ordered one hope it's good
