  • My math isn't very good but 90% sounds good.

  • any Eset deal? :)

  • Your telling me they charge $100 a year normally for Kaspersky?

  • -4

honestly, you are better off sticking with windows defender (default) and an adblocker (ublock is not bad)
but, in saying that Kaspersky is rather good though when it comes to this software

    • +1

no you're not. kaspersky is great at identifying virus/Trojans, where windows defender says the file is fine. most certainly if you're of the old guard that still downloads torrents you need kaspersky, windows defender does not identify the same virus's that kaspersky can.

I am not comparing to other antivirus that might be equally good, but you represent windows defender which is terrible at uptodate virus/Trojan protection (in comparision)

  • Currently using Kaspersky Internet Security 3 devices 2 year deal, about to expire soon. Shame there is no deal on this one.

  • What is the shelf life of these license? In other words, how long can I keep these licenses before it expired? My license is still current.

    • You can activate it anytime before the end of 2021.

  • If you have an existing subscription active, adding the code will not override your current subscription until the days remaining get to zero.

So you can stack multiple codes into your account.

    • So technically you could buy multiple of these, activate them all at once and will last?

      • Yes, activating multiple subscriptions will NOT mean con-current usage.
        So

        A Subscription = 365 days
        B Subscription = 365 days

A Subscription will countdown first even though you have added 2x license, mean that B Subscription only ticks on after A has COMPLETELY finished.
I know because I have activated multiple licenses (at the same time/at time of purchase).

  • My current license expires in mid 2022, does it mean I can still add this license to it and it will kick in when the current license run out.

    • Yes

  • Nah will save my 10 bucks for kaspersky cloud free

  • Kaspersky cloud free is definitely the best vs other AVs. But I think $10 bucks is worth it for 12 months technical supports too!

If you want proof that Kaspersky is good, read my comment in the below posts.

Without it I would of got my credit card stolen:

  • For those wanting to see how Kaspersky compares to other brands this is from an independent lab and is worth the read.

  • Shows $169 on checkout for Kaspersky Total Security 2020 - 3 Devices - 2 Year License.

  • I guess you just missed it too — I had the page open, went to look at reviews, then it jumped back up :(

    • Just use the Kaspersky cloud free instead

      • How does cloud free compare to KIS in terms of robustness in finding bugs?
