  For SIM only plans the bonus points are 7500 only ($49 plan).

  It looks like it's available across a range of services (eg; iPads) but the bonus points amount varies a lot. For iPad pro - it's a meagre 2500 points, which is $12.50 bonus.

  I think the best plan if you're getting a mobile is the 1000GB for $119 as the bonus points (40,000) are worth $200 per month

    issue is that you need to payout the handset after three months.
    You should be assessing this over the life of the plan - rather than against 3 months of the sim only plan.

      That's true, however I was considering to get the Oppo Find X2 Pro outright which only Optus is offering a preorder giftcard for $300 and has to be with them for at least 1 month.

      I'd argue that this deal should highlight the $119 instead of the $49
