Just got posted. (Basically, 6 hrs after ordering).
Received this afternoon.
Does the AMD 3600 make sense to upgrade from here:
Intel G4560
MSI H110M Pro-vh plus
GTX 1660 super
assuming a new motherboard b450?
I am looking to get a VR ready build.
$273.86 atm.
For those who have ordered it recently when it was > $280 and it has been shipped (like me), you can try get a $10 promo credit via chat.
Welp… now it's $311.
Nevermind, that's AU stock
That’s Amazon AU.
Amazon US has it for $273.86 delivered (with prime) - click on the ‘New (20) from’ and it’ll list Amazon US as the seller.
Edit: saw your reply only after I posted, I had thought the same as you originally when I checked. Seems according to CamelCamelCamel Amazon AU sold it on the 30th May for ~$208, not sure if anyone got it for that price though).
whats a good motherboard for this that on more of a budget end?
I just ordered the MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC mobo @Amazon US via Amazon Au for $203.84; as it is only in stock mid June, I can still cancel if the price drops or I decide to go for the yet to be launched B550 around mid June.
I asked eBay via chat before I purchased. They confirmed eligibility and calculated the amount. I got the voucher 30 mins later.
The eBay price match is a long running deal.
(I must have forgot to reference it - Here you go: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/539950).
What grizz_li said (below) is very true.. so you have to be careful how you shop. Luckily, I've got a few ebay things on my list :).
