The Gamesmen have apologised for the confusion and direct customers to return the item for a refund.
You shouldn't need to select it as the banner states "30 Days of Deals all with free express metro delivery". I was confused as to why it said standard but just rushed for the purchase anyways. Here's hoping! :)

I hope we get it for release, a minor thing to complain considering the price but I cannot wait to play it.
Shouldn't be necessary as it's a pre-order so they generally get sent out one or two days earlier so that you get the game on release. Doesn't always work. I've had good experiences with Amazon pre-orders but this is my first on eBay so I'm not sure.

I couldn't even get through the checkout… Immediately cancelled my ebay plus. For something promoted so far ahead of time, that's just lame.

The code is in the item listing. 1. Click on item, 2. Click “take at least $xx.xx off this item, 3. Click copy voucher, 4. Apply voucher at check out. The only way you could not see it is if you don’t have eBay Plus?
yeah I'm aware of where it usually sits but the listing was still showing as $99 for me and no discount code - signed in with plus and everything. Then there was another delay Paypal end too - oh well just bad luck I guess…

Harsh saying it is Gamesmen's fault. The quantity/promo code is limited to what eBay advises them it is. My confirmation email says I bought at 10:03am so at 10:00am was still there.

For everyone that missed out, I just ordered a copy on amazon for $59 free delivery, not as cheap as this deal but I got using the amazon app with a redeemable discount code, I just clicked redeem deal to get the discount once I signed in to the app. Not sure if its targeted.
Hmm definitely targeted, logged into the amazon app and added it to cart, no deal added.
Sorry my bad, there was a promotion with "click here to redeem" link when I logged into the app, which I clicked on, then I added the game to my cart and discount was applied automatically, but yes, if its targeted then I don't think you would see that promo link.

Just wait a month, the first Last of Us was heavily patched within 4 weeks of release to iron out all the bugs and performance issues. Remember, the first play through is the one you will remember.

Same lol, the code on the banner can't be selected to copy… clicked on it and it opened the items page, have to point the cursor on the 'show me how to get this price' text to finally show the coupon code to copy it.

Missed out, Selected 'buy it now' right at 10am, item still in cart with discount added, PayPal details needed confirmation leading to being sold out.
Thought 'buy it now' would guarantee a copy but payment details screwed me over, disappointed, questioning myself on the value of eBay Plus membership, ah well😟
Yeah I was wrong thinking that Buy It Now secures your copy. I took a bit of time on that page as I was messing with the order quantity for a mate but luckily I managed to secure one.
I used the app on my phone, it went to another page to put in the code and click done, goes to another page to click done, checked out, and got conformation, just waiting to see if it changes, nightmare compared to computer.

Same. Considering this comes from Sydney it's a worry. I usually buy digital so that I can play on release day, but 50% off (from digital price) is a big bargain I couldn't resist, so this was a gamble for me. If it's not sent today, I have little hope of playing before Monday :(

I just got a ‘We’ve just packed your order’ email from Gamesmen with an AusPost tracking number. There are no tracking events yet so I doubt I’ll get it tomorrow as I’m in Brisbane…

Last item I ordered from Gamesmen, it took two business days (Tuesday to Thursday, this morning actually). Expecting the same ish turn around.
Yeah I’d expect the same. It’s a shame as you’d think they would know to send it earlier if not in Sydney. Anyway fingers crossed indeed!

It does say free express post in the banner on the ebay homepage.
Express was a $7 option for delivery. Just standard shipping for free.
Looks like the listing may have updated to include free express shipping now. Might've updated it because of tomorrows release date as an incentive to buy with them still.

When purchasing sure - however the ebay banner states free express post on all their specials. Even the $9 and 99c items got express postage i'm sure they can send the $49 game via express post too!!!
