If you make a good game, it's over to the competition to make something better to make you discount yours. This is still the best in class, the only competitor will be the next Mario Kart game.
I finished it on Wii U and when I upgraded to switch vowed not to buy it again… held out 5 years waiting for a new game… bought it again
I have just bought it for Switch after having completed a complete Wii U pal collection and MK8 being my 103rd physical Switch game.
To some extent there’s now a new games worth of tracks there with the expansion passes. Game has a huge assortment of tracks now.
On the other hand, they don’t ship new titles with a $120 RRP like Sony and MS, and even with physical going cheaper lots of titles on those platforms are more like $99. Have to be prepared to wait for the drops with those other companies, which admittedly usually isn’t too long.
