Kind of fail on my part. Paid $10 for a curry, rice and naan delivered. Dumbarse me could of gone down the street and picked up just a curry and rice for $1.50… OOPS!

Happened to me too; try another time like in 5 minute increments. Order wouldn't work at 12 but worked at 12:05.

I wonder what's with the cancellations? I figured Menulog would wear the cost, and not the restaurants, so I wonder why only certain orders seem to be getting cancelled. If it was Menulog you would think there'd be blanket cancellations across the board.
the restaurant could be busy and didnt have available driver. so they didnt accept your order.
Yeah mine was cancelled too this morning even though I’ve already picked it up. Menulog’s great service means they’re not available to chat until 11am. I don’t want the cafe to wear the cost so I’ll be requesting menulog reimburse them.
They seem like a very lazy company imo. At a guess, this wasn’t meant to get out to the public and it took them until 730 this morning to realise what was going on.
Fair warning - Menulog can be pretty incompetent at times. We had one delivery get delayed for so long that I ended up driving to the restaurant and picking it up myself because I was too hungry to wait any longer than the hour and a half I had already waited.
It's a good deal - but it does mean you run the chance of starving for ages.

Pretty sure menu log and Uber eats are loss leaders, these deals happen as some new investor pays 10s million for a small share, just to keep the company floating

My Red Rooster order is scheduled for 5pm but checking orders in Menulog shows order received only. Does that mean its gone through?
No - you need order confirmed, which is the next step for it to go through.

@tee cee: If it says soon after 5pm and you ordered for 5pm i would be checking the opening times of the store. I ordered last night for a 12:30pm delivery for red rooster and last night it said the restaurant will confirm your order shortly after 11am (opening time) and this morning just after 11am it was confirmed through. Delivered just before at 12:39

Users that are getting their orders cancelled - did the restaurants confirm the order last night at all? Or were they awaiting confirmation until now

Overall I paid $3.60 for my meal.
Seems to be pretty hit and miss with the cancellations, maybe depending on the store? I dont know why stores would be cancelling the $15 credit would be coming from menulogs pockets and not the stores. The only reason i can see stores cancelling is if they have too much demand and cant fulfill the orders for the lunches everyone has ordered?
Or if their kitchen isn’t open at the time the order is scheduled, or if they’ve had bad experiences with scheduled orders and complaints in the past.
Mines not cancelled yet, i got KFC. Can't wait for my zinger box!
