Nah, picture shows a mattress. So possibility it could be included seeing flats aren’t. Bloody Swedish.
What sort of bed comes with slats separately?
Ikea Beds as there are two types of slats you can purchase
Luroy - $30.00 - cheap but easily loose.
Lonset - $70.00 - expensive but strong.
Add another $70 for the premium slats. Only a dollar more than the bed costs!
Ikea
The type of bed that gives us ozbargainers the chance to use up their bunnos pallet wood.
Perfect for 69 bucks.
slats for this are $30
various sized wood and screws in a box $69
FTFY
Advertising a bed with slats sold separately should be illegal. You need the slats to be able to use the bed!
Should be $109, or upgrade to "premium" slats for an extra $40.
I'm pretty sure that laws were created about 10 or 15 years ago to prevent companies from breaking down the full price into a number of components/hidden costs.
Correct you are. The sale is completely illegal breaching section 48 of the consumer practices. Ikea should get the $500,000 fine aswell for the breach, but the government is crooked as fuk and won't do anything.
its how Ikea upsell you on their crap products. But they take it to another level in that they upsell you items that are needed to actually use the thing. it would be like Toyota selling a brand new car without a steering wheel lol. Better off getting proper aussie made bed base for couple hundred delivered without the ring around.
Should include it is the bed frame only (no mattress) in title - as obvious as that may sounds. Or maybe it's just me and I'm a dimwit
