      That's nice

    • This is the way.

  • Hi op do you do custom loop builds?

    • +4

      Hi Michael,

If you would like a custom loop we can do it for you

      Feel free to contact us

      OP

  • How much would it cost to put in a 2080 Ti instead of the 2070 Super?

    • Hi Alien,

Feel free to direct message us and we can confirm model and price

      OP

    • +1

Add at least another 1k on top, if not more…

      • +5

        Hi Aligned,

We would subtract the cost of the 2070 before adding the 2080ti and only charge market price. We need to talk model due to current stock shortages so we can ascertain a price and when we can get the stock

        OP

        • +1

Theoretically a 2070 super is ~$1000+ and a 2080 ti is ~$2000+ so it's a minimum of $1k on top, if not more like I said.

  • There is no point pairing that CPU with a 2070 Super. The GPU is going to be the bottleneck even at 1080p. Sell that spec with a 2080ti, or provide a lower tier CPU with a 2070 super. People buying a 10900k with a 2070 Super aren't making the most out of their CPU at 1080p. Considering that even if you in go up in resolution the difference in performance will be almost zero between the different CPUS.

    • +3

Given the new cards coming soon, I'd argue every GPU purchased now, especially with a 10900k are terrible investments for multiple reasons.

  • +8

This price is definitely not as bad as everyone is blowing up in the comments. I build my own PC's but if someone wanted a high end rig at this price point I would be happy to send them to this deal. Nice post IMO

    • +1

Couldn't agree more. Compared on pcpartpicker and it came to just under 3k for these parts (a couple werent listed on there so used equivalent). If you were to wait for sales and build yourself you may be able to save yourself a hundred bucks or two but this is available pre built to go. Decent value. But as others have suggested, I would definitely upgrade the gpu to a 2080 minimum.

    • +3

People forget that everything is more expensive atm

  • -5

Underpowered - it comes with a 700 Watt power supply, but the graphics card alone requires at least 650 Watt https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http… (Minimum System Requirements).

Doesn't leave enough overhead for the CPU (which can draw 300 Watt+ by itself) and the rest of the system.

    • +3

No it doesnt you can even get away with 550W if it didnt have the i9

      dont lie in the comments

      • -3

You can get away with it, but an underpowered system can result in almost random errors which are very hard t diagnose.

        • +1

it aint underpowered its within the recommended range

    • Hi Booya,

Using PC partpicker and other websites shows adequate power

If you would like to upgrade the PSU this is possible

      OP

      • -3

I suggest using official requirements by the manufacturer, not part picker information.

I suggest upgrading power supply as you suggest it is possible.

      • +1

I removed the neg since the power supply can be upgraded, with this deal

    • +3

The power requirement from the manual you linked takes into account the whole system, i.e. including all other components. 700w is more than enough.

      • -2

Since when do component power requirements take into account other parts?

        • +2

Read the wording, it's system requirement not component requirement.

Obviously actual power usage will vary depending on other components which is why the 650w specified is actually the upper end of the requirement. With a low powered CPU 550w is sufficient as Freestyle said above.

Edit: check out this review, under gaming load the card alone uses 209w which results in the recommended power supply of 550w

          • +1

@xers: I must admit it's been at least 5 years since I've built my last system, 700 Watt seemed low to me on the surface.

If anything you'd want to build in enough headroom for max power draw for all components and any possible upgrades later.

But I see your point, and I won't argue the point any further.

            • +1

@BooYa: And i will also admit that's I'm actually a novice when it comes to PC building but from my limited experience reading around the internet, 700w is more than sufficient for this kind of system.

I do agree with your sentiment about leaving headroom for future upgrades though.

    • Lol I use 2 hard drives, a 2600, 1050Ti, high end Noctua cooler (don't know if it affects wattage that much) and other stuff on a 265w PSU just fine. The 1050Ti minimum requirements are 250W.

Might be a bad example, sorry 😂

    • Why the face?.. I have no Idea where people are coming up with these posts in this thread…

  • +2

Money better spent by getting Ryzen 9 3900x,b450 mobo, smaller liquid cooler or even the stock one and use the $500+ saved on Rtx 2080s.

I don't see any reason going for intel other than loyalty.

  • +1

At least this post is honest and marking their association. I can't prove it something shifty is happening when Being Askhole is the only one posting Techfast deals.

    • +3

Get this over any techfast shit anyday

  • I have been out of the loop in regards to computer stuff, is this like a PC on the top end?

    • Yeah but for its price i would expect these included

      32gig RAM
      WIFI/Bluetooth motherboard
      2nd Harddrive
      Windows 10

An extra few hundred i would expect a 2080 Super too.

    • Depends on what you want to do with the PC.

If you use it for just parallel workloads like rendering, compressing etc and gaming, then a 3900X makes more sense as its cheaper and runs at a lower power.
If its primarily for games, then a 2080ti graphics card is like the top end.

A 3700X with a 2080ti will be cheaper and will give you much better gaming performance as you will not need an expensive cooler nor an expensive mother board.

  • +1

Tech fast is giving this deal the death gaze!

  • So many funny comments in here. I guess this is what happens when you "google" too much and take everything as "fact".

  • +1

I get that the GPU not having "- Guaranteed" after it just means you could get different 2070s, but it's so much funnier to imagine that some systems just don't turn up with the GPU inside.

    • +3

Now that's what we call an outstanding manoeuvre

But yes you're correct, it could mean you could get a different model of 2070s,

Compared to some of our competitors we're stating what parts you'll definitely get so you don't feel like you're being taken for a ride

      OP

  • +1

10900K, DOA, has no purpose unless you're a competitive 1080p FPS player, and even then it's such a diminishing return, just get a 10600K, and for most people, probably a 3700X

    • Agree with 10600k or 3700x… It is def more of a got the money to splurge type CPU..

      • Shhh! Don't tell the truth, you'll hurt people's feelings who think that pairing a 10900k with a mid range card will somehow magically make them a professional and competitive gamer.

        • +1

I mean, I just think they may as well sell the system with a 10600K instead, as the 10900K, and the 10700K for that matter, are both fairly pointless products, and it'll save their customers nearly $500, and this company seems to be new at this so, while it may look flashy it's really just a waste of everyone's money.

  • Graphics Card: Galax 2070 Super

Not guaranteed, while everything has guaranteed?

    • +1

      Hi No ONE,

Due to limited stock due to covid19 ETAs are all over the place for our order,

If we can't get Galax 2070s stock soon enough we will substitute it with most likely Gigabyte 2070s,

      OP

      • Just curious is Intel are actually shipping 10900Ks already? From what I’ve seen most mentioned it’s more of a paper launch with no real eta on the CPUs even though presale has been up for a week or more..

  • Not sure who is this build for? If you are a gamer then you should put the grand in the gpu not CPU. Otherwise for editing crowd RAMs and other components should be tweaked better. You can do a lot with 3k

  • +2

I hope you people realise that a 6 core i5 will get you within 90% of the performance of a i9.

  • This PC or a Commodore 64?
