Yes, likely early next year. M4 regular is a decent little spec bump over M2/3.
@xdirex: I even considered replacing M1 pro mbp 14 with this m4 non-pro mbp 14 for single thread performance and added battery life
but to be honest not a critical upgrade. m1 pro is still a solid performer
@shabaka: Yeah I’m thinking the same for my and my partner’s MBPs. Totally don’t need the performance bump (my design and dev workflow has never skipped a beat) but I like to keep laptops within warranty, and the tax deduction plus selling the old devices results in a net positive.
Supporting Gerry is never a good alternative :P
