I have a credit with Telstra from when I ported out. They make it clear refunds can't be approved online and you have to call. They make it clear that refunds aren't a high priority, so please don't call. /rant
Foxtel Now standard monthly pricing applies at the end of the 1 Month offer period ($25/month – Essentials) unless you change your pack or cancel before the end of the offer period
Yeah I'd be staying clear unless there's a way to cancel online manually.
And can you actually contact telstra to cancel it? C
You cancel online.
Took up this offer, already regretting it.
On completing signup it says you will auto billed through your Telstra account. Then in my account the "Cancel Subscription" button is greyed out.
Tried adding a credit card to change my account to direct billing, was successful but the cancel button remains greyed out.The cancel button now shows correctly.
When I had 3 months of Foxtel Now (or Go?) free (through a telstra NBN bundle) the service cancelled as soon as I did, through the Foxtel website. So set a reminder if you want to use it and cancel so you don’t get charged.
IMO not worth it, if you’ve got a relative or friend with foxtel with it might as well ask them if you can use a login. How about no
First prize in our new competition - One Month of Foxtel absolutely free!

somewhat unrelated but could a current subscriber tell me whether connecting Foxtel account to Google assistant counts as a registered Device
do they provide you a Telstra Now box if you don't have one?
Foxtel Now is like Netflix, you can watch in your pc or phone.
They do now https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/629220
Can't seem to sign up. Keeps erroring out
worked for me .
It worked in the end. Maybe a browser issue.
Will they automatically start charging you after the first month? And can you actually contact telstra to cancel it? Considering the live chat is unavailable and you never get through when calling.
