I think I preferred the Kraft Peanut Butter.

It's the same recipe, you might just be attached to the capitalist machine of big brands…

      • +1

        It tastes more cheesy now.

      • +1

It's the same packaging too. Bega recently won the lawsuit that allowed them to continue using the packaging. Kraft the dodgey bastards sold them the peanut butter but tried to not let them use the same packaging style.

No, Kraft US split in two. The original company renamed to Mondelez. A new company was created to be "Kraft".

Kraft said Mondelez gave Kraft the packaging in Australia as part of the split, but Mondelez said that it had kept it, and later sold the packaging rights to Bega.

The Court agreed with Mondelez. Nothing "dodgy" (note spelling) about Kraft.

  • 500g is also available, works out the same equivalent price of ~$5.14/L (updated title and link).

  • Damn they don't have the pure or 99% peanut one.

The superior crunchy is not the same discount :(

  • Thanks OP

  • Only smooth :(

    • Crunchy Less fat is on offer

    great peanut butter!

    great Below average peanut butter!

Fixed that for you, wheres the mayvers or pics or purely nutz at?

  • Back to $6:50 for 780g

    • And 500g isn't showing at all.

  • vegemite is also cheap with the subscribe option.

  • It's a good one when I feel like eating half-sugar half-peanut butter (not being sarcastic).

  • Have you tried making peanut butter from a blender? I tried this during lockdowns and it's actually quite fun (and healthier?) :D

  • Go all out and buy the 2KG bucket.

  • +2

Man, some people are easily pleased if this rubbish is "great."

If it's not Mayvers it's not Peanut Butter.

    • Agree. This one is 15% vegetable oils and sugar

    • I'm not into Mayvers. bought loads of it because of specials I saw on Ozb. Always sits in the cupboard.

  • +2

yep this one's full of sugar.

Get a better quality one like Mayver's and you won't look back.
