These have PWM - they flicker and cause headaches.
Are you sure? Bought these from the Amazon sales year ago and never noticed any flicker on either colour setting. Not even through camera lens.
Yes, I bought 6 and promptly returned them. They were $6 each at that point. The ones I got switched between Cool to Warm. Even if you watch the video reviews, you can see the lines in the camera.

Either had faulty bulbs or your lamp wasn't compatible with them.
@Hybroid: Some phone cameras can eliminate flicker by syncing the shutter speed to the same as the rate of flicker (usually the frequency of the electricity, which is 50Hz in Australia). So whether it shows up depends on the mode you use. Normally, it will be most apparent when you first turn on the bulb. Sometimes you need to use the slow-mo camera to make it show up. And also put the lens right up to the globe to show the lines. I was just using a regular desk lamp plugged into the wall to test it.
Do you mean all PWM causes headaches, or that these cause headaches and it's because of the PWM?
As far as I know PWM is VERY common.
Only if it's light related. It depends on the level of exposure and the speed of the PWM, but generally if it's at a low frequency, then it's more noticeable. Better to have a constant light. Apparently it causes the pupils to dilate and contract rapidly. Different people have got different sensitivities to light changes.
Blink slower and you won't notice the flickers.
