$20 off @ My Muscle Chef

170
ION20

In addition to the usual monthly discount (the current coupon code for $15 OFF is "MAY-15"), which is valid for everyone, I've also found this ION20 coupon which gave me $20 OFF. The coupon was found online on Wethrift. Although it was advertised for "new customers only", I managed to use with my (resumed) subscription. I order from MMC monthly, sometimes fortnightly, but I couldn't find a way to apply the coupon for subscriptions. I always have to stop the subscription and immediately reactivate to add the discount. It's about $8.15/meal, which is great. I like the meals.

Just to be clear, you can't use two coupons. I've mentioned both the $15 discount and the $20 so you can try one or another.

  • Thank you OP!

  • Better than youfoodz?

    • +3

Definitely better than youfoodz. Tastier and much more filling.

      • Not racist hahah? Sorry had to mention it.

      • Well it would have to be since YF is frequently at $5-6/meal whereas this is $10. The coupon pretty much only covers the delivery fee.

        • It's $8 if you buy 28 meals. And MMC is much better than Youfoodz… Quality and portionwise…

    • no comparison

    • definitely better. And there are some 400-450 g'bangers in there for the same price.

  • Someone who has used Muscle Chef before, can you let me know the best valued set to get per piece. Anything around $5.50 per meal like the deals I get with YouFoodz. Honestly don't care much for all the negs they get, I like the average portion sizes (I dont over eat) & the price is decent for a quick lunch meal.

Absolutely agree. I'm looking at all these others but can't find any that are even close price wise besides the third wave deal and the core foods that came through last week. Happy to pay a bit more but under $8 I think is good.

I have used YouFoodz pretty extensively and have been on MMC for the last 3 months.

YouFoodz with the discount totalling to about 5.50 per meal is unbeatable. I found the food okay to good, and I usually pad it out with a bit of rice on the side to be full. I didn't have much of a problem like everyone else does.

I tried MMC with the intro offer and it works out to be about 8 per meal. However, the quality taste and amount if much, much better than YouFoodz. The food tastes less like microwaveable food and the added benefit is that the meals can be frozen (unlike YF) so I can order a batch of 25 meals in one go and freeze most of them.

So, on average, it is $3-4 per meal than YF, I actually much prefer MMC now and haven't gone back to YF after 3 months on MMC. Everyone's situation is different, but I would recommend giving them a shot and seeing how you go (It's not a full subscription).

  • Hi, I signed up for a monthly subscription but when it was time for a new month I couldn't workout how to add a new coupon code. Can someone help me out? Do I need to cancel the subscription by emailing them and then start it again?

    • Go to subscriptions and cancel

    • As I've mentioned, I couldn't find a way to add the code for the subscription, so I cancel and reactivate the subscription monthly.

      • How do you cancel your subscription? I've tried looking but can't see a cancel button. The only option I have available is to skip a delivery.

        • I can always see the option on the same page, after the skip…

  • code no longer works (got a couple of uses out of it) latest is $15 off with code JUNE15
