Hey guys,

Check out today's Ouffer. I've been to bistro Lily for Bastille day which was a 5(or 6) degustation menu for $75. They usually have a 6 course degustation for %89.

They have good reviews in Eatability and I can personally vouche for the store myself. A critical review would rate them as mediocre value for money on a normal day. If I had to pay full price, I think I would go somewhere that was a bit more interesting and different. They have rather traditional french dishes as I don't recall anything standing out or being quite inventive. Having said that, I am quite a harsh food critic! at 45 bucks a person including wine I think its great value for money and I think you'll have a nice time, espesically with a group of friends or a loved one :). Even though it says bistro, its smart casual and quite intimate candlelight dining but not overly formal. I remember the manager not being that warm but the rest of the staff were very friendly.

      This is a degustation menu…
      If you just want to fill your tummy go to McDonalds now (between 12-1pm) and get yourselves 10x $1 cheesburgers :-) (I felt like a pig after having 3 though)
      I have been to bistro lily and I would recommend it. The only problem with this deal is I cannot find the expiry date…

      mattgal, maybe you should have googled 'degustation', as wiki puts it "Dégustation is more likely to involve sampling small portions of all of a chef's signature dishes in one sitting."
      ps the GI-NORMOUS plate size in photo is probably deceiving too, i mean put the same food onto a small side dish plate and it would look a lot more generous! i always wonder why chefs order a 50cm plate but only use the inside 10cms, i mean it's like an artist buys a 8foot x 10foot canvas but only paints a picture the size of a postcard!

    Last time get this coupon for bistro lily i find that the food is just ok nothing spectacular. nonetheless it is cheap
