Seems a bit extreme to neg, no?
Oil and sugar are fine in moderation. Don't know about stabiliser 471, but given it's used in a lot of foods, I'm going to say it's also fine, again, in moderation.
Considering the better alternatives, I'd strongly recommend going with natural peanut butter.
This is the most ridiculous neg I've come across.
Edit: good move to revoke
Hey @magicloic,
I think I'll be negged for what I say too, but that's story of my life - trying to help people to save them from themselves. Or perhaps give snippets of truth to those who have more opinion rather than knowledge.I also think you have been negged for following: OzB is bargain place, not nutritional truth place…
For others who care about their life, health and general well being:
1. Peanuts are not nuts - they legumes
2. Vegetable oil is literally poison. It is hydrogenated unstable rubbish turned into "oil". Hint, peanuts have enough natural oils of their own, if other "oils" added - there is something to hide…
4. Sugar…
5. By far not best source of bio available protein
5. For that price you can get real peanut butter if you really into a bit more "healthy" body inflammatory response.Bonus: The price is not real bargain :-)
Feel free to neg me for truth! :-)
You've posted deals for alcohol in the past and you're going on about saving people from themselves in reference to not buying natural peanut butter…
Not sure why you feel threatened by what I posted to actually go extra length and check out what I posted in the past… But here is why, if this is what you after. Just like you I'm here for the bargain. When I post something I believe it is bargain.I'm not an angel that does everything right. However, if I'd choose to spend my money on poison at least I get a quality one at the bargain price. Translation: above product isn't quality and isn't bargain…
- Vegetable oil is literally poison…
So you never heard of PEANUT OIL is classify as VEGETABLE OIL ?
and you lost COUNT after 1 & 2… it's 3,4,5 make sure get your figure right next time. LOL
- Peanuts are not nuts
Lol…. Next thing you'll tell us that Koalas are not bears !!!!
I also think you have been negged for following: OzB is bargain place, not nutritional truth place…
It was because they negged a deal posted simply because they recommend another product. It's like negging a deal on beer because there is a carb free alternative.
Crunchy also available here:
https://www.amazon.com.au/Bega-Smooth-Roast-Peanut-Butter/dp…Do they still do Super Crunchy?
Kraft?
kraft PB was changed to Bega
https://www.smartcompany.com.au/business-advice/intellectual…
was changed
I thought it was the same ?
Bega actually won the court case against Kraft last month,
Do. NOT. Buy. Kraft brand
Incorrect. Educate yourself before instructing others.
You are wrong. Kraft is using some newly invented peanut butter recipe. Bega has the original recipe, ownership, packgaging. Aussie owned. Kraft can go f*** themselves bigtime.
@Jack D Price: Go educate yourself.
@Jack D Price: I just realised you used to be Neo on OzBargain!
Isn't that normal price?
https://shop.coles.com.au/a/churchill-centre/product/kraft-p…https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/39362/bega…
$5 when on sale according to price hipster.
Yes, just the normal price, so not a bargain in my view.
I was also thinking that… I guess free delivery is nice.
It isn't free delivery with Amazon.
Sorry should've said free Prime delivery is nice.
Crunchy cheaper. Thanks OP
Source of Vegetable Oil (Contains Antioxidant (320)), Sugar…
I am a big fan of peanut butter and I can only recommend the brands with no added oil, sugar or Stabiliser (471).
At Woolworth lots of "Natural" brands are regularly on half price, and it is cheaper than this one.
