    that's a phat D

Not the case of more is better. Especially considering that vitamin D is not really a vitamin, but hormone. Careful, careful, total consumption above 4000IU daily can result in side effects. Consult with your doctor!

my local coles sell the 250caps which I think is the one you are referring to. I found buying the 400pack much cheaper.

the only place cheaper than this is chemist warehouse at $14 when on sale..

        good deal OP

Sunlight is free. How many Australians have rickets?

Swisse have been shown over and over to be totally devoid of morals. Can you put that in a pill?

It's not uncommon for people to be unable to convert Vitamin D, hence the need for pills

      A Trump™ pill?

  • These and most other famous brands are synthetic vitamins, not natural, hence the shelf life, they are likely to be more damaging to the body than beneficial. Nothing against this deal, was just very disappointed when I learnt this recently.

    • Damaging in what way?

      • Ask yourself one simple question, how is the shelf life of 'natural' vitamins possibly so long? You might think of preservatives, but with synthetic the source chemicals it comes from is far far worse than one can imagine.

        • What difference does it matter how it is made? You get the same chemical compound. If it wasn't the same it wouldn't function.

          • @doheedo: You assume science knows everything when science itself admits that it doesn't. Science is all discovery and manipulation / modification, not creation.

The base raw material of a fruit or vegetable supplement ought to be a fruit or vegetable, each to their own if some prefer their source of fruits and vegetables to be crude oil, acetone, and all such things of non-edible (+harmful) origin.
